Never Knows Best
Oct. 21st, 2003 12:51 pmMan, I love this song.
So, after school yesterday, I drove by a bus stop on the corner of Winton and Jefferson. And I recognized the person standing at it. It was Chad, one of my best friends from high school, one of the people in the ring of outcasts. He's struggling... kinda homeless, but crashing with an ex at Browncroft. We hung out at Midtown for a couple hours. It was great to see him again after 3 or 4 years :)
Today, after class, but not yet after school, I went into Scott's office to cry. It may seem hard to believe, but last year's "bad art teacher" has a new competedor (sp?). I told him about how she always puts me down ("what's wrong with you?" instead of saying 'it's not that hard to understand') and makes me feel bad about myself. And I can never tell if she's being serious or not. He said he'd talk to her. I fear my next class with her now.
On the way home, I stopped in Macedon to the new comic book shop called Lost Worlds to ask for a job and look around. They weren't hiring of course, god forbid I get my dream job of working with comics in some way. It's a nice place. The guy that runs it is kind of a yuppie. He's got a barhandle mustache, too. Not big, but noticable. I really want to get the new Sandman. But I still have to go to Comics Etc for my normal supply, which is probably being stacked, I can't even remember when I was there last.
So if anyone wants to pick up my comics for my birthday, all you've got to do is go to comics etc and say "I'm picking up fawn's comics for her birthday" and Doug or Andy will hand you a nice little stack.
That is my birthday wish :)
Oh, and I should also call Waldens
