Escherian Stairwell
Jul. 14th, 2003 07:25 pmSean asked to paint me for his class today! I never get to hang with Big Brother, so I was totally excited! But I had to meet him over in building 7 at RIT. That campus is SO BIG, but I remember building 7 from seeing Sarah Sleen at the Java's there, so at least I knew where the building was.
I asked someone where the room was, and they directed me up these stairs. Dude, you will not freaking believe it! OMG!!!
NO REALLY!!!! OOOO MMMMMM GGGGGGG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate climbing stairs, but they told me the elevators were across the building. I was in the stairwell for SO LONG before I realized I was passing the same exit door over and over and over and over and over and over and...
I spent a good ten minutes checking it out. I put my purse at the bottom of the stairs and went up to the next flight, and FFFFUUUUCKKKK MY PURSE!!! I SHIT YOU NOT! It was there!! IT WAS RIGHT FREAKIN THERE IN FRONT OF ME!! I wish I had a bouncy ball or something I could throw cuz holy shit! I wish I had a camcorder or something so I could share a video.
After leaving the stairs and finding Sean, he explained that it's a trick staircase made by this Argentinian(?) architect guy named Raphael... uuuummm...... hang on, let me look this up...
Rafael Nelson Aboganda! And he's Fillippino. Not Argentinian. AND DUUUDE... you gotta check it out! All my RIT peeps! Go check this out! Start climbing the building 7 stairs (I don't know if there's more than one staircase, sorry)...just find one you can't... like.. GO UP! lol
Its called the Escherian Stairwell - lots of students send N00bs like me, lololol
Totally knew it was possible to build one of those impossible stairs.
