Oh Hiiiii Pet Comic Book Project

I thought I'd throw this up here too (since
imjh is friends-only for the time being).
Edit: on second thought, that will have been my last locked entry. I'll open it up to the public from now on, so if you want to see more, you can add imjh, and I'll make the appropriate changes when I have a little more time.
*******
I haven't worked on the comic since December, but I soon shall. Soon you will see ALL the comics I've been working on. For now, here are the final rough drafts of the first five pages of I Married James Hook, sans word balloons.
The basic jist of what's going on in these pages, is Valentine is going around, checking on the progress of re-constructing the Jolly Roger, post-Lost-Boys-attack. A belligerent Pirate (uuummmm... I think that's Biggs) is getting mouthy about his workload when he wants to be throwing down on the Lost Boys, and how Hook wouldn't have put up with this crap. Valentine verbally bitch-slaps him and assures him they'll fight when their haven is secure, and reminds him that Hook is dead and she's in charge. Then she checks on the port (or starboard; it's kind of ambiguous at this point) and helps out with a stubborn plank of wood (she dives off because it's been a dull day).
Preview:

BWAHAHA, look at his tiny hand! Yeah, I got some tweaking to do. Prepare for a laugh.

This is my favourite of all the final draft pages so far. I really like the thickness of the lines (wish I could have achieved that for the last panel).

Yikes, look at her head!

extra rough sketch

Oh hi weirdly shaped lady ass.

Date: 2012-06-07 11:28 pm (UTC)j/k bb, take your time as needed. Also, I too enjoy the heavier line weight whenever a panel's focused up close on things. THERE'S MY "PLZ RATE/REVIEW"
