End of the Semester

So I'm done for the semester. Next week is finals, of which I have none, so I've got to wait a little longer for grades. I've got at least one A.
Anyway. Semester's over. Now I can relax. Super relax. Which is awesome, because as some of you know, my last few (locked) posts and the past month or so have been very VERY depressing and hard for me. One bad thing after the next, and to top it off, earlier this week, my bike was stolen (which never hit me as so tragic, because all those little things seemed so much worse than bike theft. And it was the third time it's happened to me, so maybe I'm used to dealing with it. Thankfully, I had the money to get a new one, so I did, and it is pinker and girlier).
During my depression, I ate. I never really experienced eating my emotions, but wow, I went overboard. And it was all salt cravings, which I always have anyway, so even if I did lose weight due to malnutrition, I've made up for it in water weight.
So my main goal over the summer is to lose weight. I'm not going to diet. I'm going to eat healthier and exercise and CHANGE my diet. Ideally, I'd like to transition into being vegan, since I like vegan foods and don't eat much meat anyway. The hardest part will be saying goodbye to all the delicious pig meats I enjoy at breakfast. And la poutine (unless the local poutine truck has a vegan option).
Other goals for the summer:
~ Toronto (of course)
~ Learn to play something on the ukulele
~ Make LOTS of jewelry for my business (and promote)
~ Clean out the apartment and have a yard sale (or a porch sale)
~ re-connect with my pen-pals
~ create more stuff
~ keep in touch with my painting buddies at open studios
~ work on comics (and practice 3-point perspective)
~ learn more about what I can do with my surger
~ (open for suggestions)
Stay tuned for a photo dump of my semester's work :)

I don't think it runs on the weekend though, but the 20 comes back through Spencerport at night and takes Laura back to the city (she lives on Dartmouth Street now)
