What is this item? They're a costume piece, of course.
Who owns it? Octavius, the apprentice of a glassworker. His specialty is glass staining, and he made these wings himself.
How important is it to the story? Octavius desperately wants to see them worn by the fairy who haunts his dreams. But who is delicate enough to carry them on her back without breaking them? One good clumsy stomp and they'll shatter (they had to be made that thin so they could be light enough to wear).
Genre: Victorian fairy tale. duh.
Other info: Octavius works for high society. His fairy-girl turns out to be low-class. Now he must figure a way to get her invited to the annual costume ball.
