Double-Plus Good news!

dielloSo, earlier, I mentioned going to see Silent Auction at their studio for their rehearsal party on Saturday. Yesterday, they opened for The Azoic at The Haunt in Ithaca, but I couldn't make it (Ithaca is about an hour and a half away from here, and poor Charles came down with a flu of some sort).
Brendan called me at about noon today to tell me about the show. He wanted me to be the first person he told about it.
"They liked us so much, we were invited to perform again next month."
"Awesome!"
"Guess when."
............... "oh my god."
"Guess who we're opening for, Fawn."
"OH MY GOD!!!"
Then about ten minutes of gushing and gleeing with delight was had, and then we made plans to make plans to go d'n'd or adventuring this week.
When I got off the phone, I ran into the bedroom and hoped Charles was awake. He was happy to hear the news, then went back to sleep.
