Does everyone remember this picture of me from when I freshly lost my tooth?

Well, I put it up on Whitechapel's Draw Each Other thread the other day. I got a piratey pen sketch that was awesome (seen about page 5 or 6 of the thread), but this one by awesome illustrator Paul Sizer takes the cake:



He also added the caption:
"FEAR THE DIELLO!
She is fierce, and not afraid to lose a tooth in the pursuit of handing you your ass if you need it handed to you!

I replied back:
Paul, I love you!! You are the most amazing guy ever! I LOVE the caption, too :D

And then he replied:

Really? I thought I'd bored you with that story already.
This was about 4 years ago. There I was, in the middle of the night, flossing my teeth, when I wedged the waxy string between my front tooth and my now missing tooth, and as I did so, I felt a sharp, sharp pain. Well, my teeth were REALLY hard to floss to begin with (because they're so compacted together), so I couldn't just thread the string through to get it out and just avoid that spot from now on, so I had to yank it back the way it went in, and I got that sharp pain again, only this time, it was a billion times worse, and it stayed. Moments later, after running to mommy, we were on our way to the emergency room. By the time we got there (we unfortunately went to Newark Hospital- ugh), half my face was twice its original size. The doctor on call thought I was just after drugs, shot me up with Vicodin, and sent me on my way with a prescription for the wrong medicine, which sent me spiraling into The Plague (I almost died from it). I got the tooth pulled the next morning at Eastman and they set me up with the right medication.
