Voltaire + Johnny Hollow

I haven't checked to confirm it (edit: confirmed), but Kitty, from Johnny Hollow emailed me after she saw that I had commented on Voltaire's botched Canadian tour that I would go if he came to Toronto.

She said Voltaire is playing with Johnny Hollow at Savage Garden (that's where I saw JH last year).

BEST NEWS EVER... well, not ever, but definitely of the day! We're going. The show will be on Thursday, 21 August.


Also good news, I will be able to attend Erica's annual picnic in the cemetery / birthday party :)


Also, my back is so sunburned that I was literally crying in pain. I bought a BIG aloe vera plant that I have been cutting up to slather on myself (with Boyfriend's help).

Last time I got sunburned I didn't have a plant then I found this awesome SPRAY ON aloe vera in a can, believe it! A mother fucking can. It was sweet, sweet relief. I sat and sprayed my back in front of the tv. Milk is soothing too. I guess in a can is less sexy than getting your boyfriend to smother you with the good shit though.

You know what I hate? When people use 'then' when it should be 'than'. It just reminded me because I read like, three things on here yesterday with that error.

Wow! First tan in a can, then aloe in a can... I'll bet you sunburned yourself from sunburn in a can, didn't you?
My burn is in weird patterns (not including on my back which shows my bra strap and dress strap lines). My arms have these sunless streaks down the sides, like the sun just skipped right over them (or maybe that's the only spot that the sunblock (IN A CAN) managed to cover.

I hate that, too. I didn't do it, did I?
