I packed all my books. I have 25 regular sized boxes, and 12 small boxes. I had to load all my manga and paperbacks into the small boxes, because if I put them into the larger ones, they would get too heavy without taking up much space in the boxes, so they're in small ones. I put the bigger books and graphic novels in the bigger boxes. They're heavy, but they're efficiently so. Most of them are not too heavy to lift without strain, but some of them are (like the cook books and art books).
That's a lot of books.
I also filtered out a (regular-sized) box-full of books to sell or trade, and went through all my CDs and ripped about 20 of them to my computer so I can sell them. They're ones of which I don't really care to keep hard copies, but I feel bad, because some of them were gifts, and some of them were with me like, almost always. I did not get rid of any of my Projekt CDs (except for Lycia, and Love Spirals Downward). I still have my Black Tape for a Blue Girl, my Voltaire, and my Projekt compilations of awesomeness.
I was left with about 20 CDs.
I probably won't get rid of any of my DVDs just yet. Those take a while to rip and lots of space to store, so I'm going to go through them in a couple weeks.
IN NON-MOVING NEWS:
I got a Spooky doll with the copious amount of funds sent over by
vashsbitch who rules with an iron fist. Spooky is the little squeeky toy Tenna carries with her in the comic I Feel Sick, by Jhonen Vasquez.
I went out with my sister Nichole last night. She came in offering to buy my ticket if I'd go see Juno with her at The Little, but the website had the times wrong. We got there, seemingly 15 minutes late at 10pm. The site said it started at 9:45. But then we were informed that it started at 9:15, the bastards. On the way in, though, we saw a guy standing outside that looked just like Michael Moore, and I suggested that we go try to out-fart him.
We went to Java's instead for coffees and cakes. Then left again. Also, while walking down an alleyway, we heard in the distance, some guy and his friend singing Journey songs, and we started singing back, and they cheered us on, but then we lost sound of them.
In non-anything news:
I just realized that I haven't eaten anything in 2 days. Why? I forgot. I'm not even hungry, relly. I was busy packing and reading and trying desperately to sleep. I still can't sleep like, AT ALL!!! Sleep Whore no more, Tia-chan!
And now off to Tilt.
