I got cast in the video!!! Oh god, I have to finish the costume!?! I was just going to forget about it! Now I have to do double time! I don't even know where to start! I've never sewn this kind of material before, I don't even know how to make it look good. I don't even know if what I have so far will cover my huge ass! I'm fucked here. And I have to make some boxes into fake gifts because that's what I told him I'd do. Oh my google, I'm so nervous and excited and terrified and PACKING!! I'M PACKING! SHIT DUDE, I'M PACKING RIGHT NOW. I HAVE LIKE, 30 BOXES IN MY ROOM RIGHT NOW! I DON'T HAVE ROOM TO SPREAD OUT THIS OUTFIT AND SEW IT UP.


EDIT: And I just checked the cake contest post, and he picked me to bake a cake, too!

I have no idea what I'm doing really. I had a wedding dress that I hacked up with a slight idea in my head (which usually doesn't fail me), but I just realized that I've never worked with wedding gown material before, not to mention assloads of lace (which was what I intended to use it for- to cover my ass). I think if I can figure out how to stitch this material, and grow some extra hands, I can easily whip up a top... but also, I am not sure how to accessorize (except that I cut off the cuffs (the gown was long-sleeved) and made the cutest little wrist cuffs out of them).

Also, he assigned me to be in the cake-baking contest. I have never been more relieved to have something easy come along with something difficult in all my life.

But you know what? The more I type, the more excited and less nervous (at least, less vomitibly nervous) I get. Also, I can feel your "love-a-challenge" vibe and it's getting me psyched... but I'm still a little nervous.
Thankfully, I have almost a week to do it all!

you'll need a silk needle to sew it. Anything larger will put pull holes in it. Both the lace and the fabric will prolly need very thin strips of bias tape (or a serious roll over).

Are you sewing by hand or machine? If machine you'll need to go very slowly and keep it taught. Fine fabrics tend to bunch.

Aaah, well, Charles has to get back to me on whether he'll be helping me attend. I keep forgetting to push him on an answer. But I'm sure if he can't make it (he may have a family thing going on), then he could at least drop me off so that I can get in on the fun. I will let you know tomorrow.
Also, have you seen my tiny needles? I know I have some somewhere.
Also, are there that many hot lesbians that are so attracted to Ellen that a euphemism like that can be made? Hehheheehe.

And yes, there are. If someone could explain to me that whole Portia attraction to Ellen in logical terms I honestly believe that the magma at the center of the earth will part ala Moses, making space for a black hole to appear and all exsistence as we know it being sucked into it flipped and reversed on the other side because it makes NO FUCKIN SENSE.

Oh, do you need sparklers or sparkler-candles? I saw the latter at Party City.

I was going to ask you for some tips, but my cousin got to me first with just about all the help I may need, but I just KNOW I will call upon you wondering why my Barbie sewing machine sucks so much. hehehe.
