Made a bit of art

I've been trying to force myself into being motivated. This drizzly weather has kept me stressed, depressed, and a mess (to keep with the flow of the rhyme). I've spent all my time trying to sleep without nightmares, and I'm often too exhausted to do anything but watch tv. But I'm trying.

So...

First and foremost, I want to plug a little book I wrote/illustrated! It's a 10-page full-colour ashcan that shows you how to make a basic sushi roll (maki). In other news, I had such a shitty day yesterday that I declared winter officially over (even though I know it's going to snow again later this week).

I declared winter over and... SHAVED MY LEGS.

And my pits. I wasn't going to shave my pits because I was pissed off at the uproar over a 30-year-old photo of Leonardo DiCapprio's mom with unshaven pits. But I was rage-shaving, so I had to. Felt pretty good. Looked pretty gross in the tub. Like a bunch of big spiders got stuck in shaving cream.

That was only hair-removal part one. I need some other equipment for other things I have to remove (one side of my lip that has about 5 dark hairs- enough to be obvious, plucking eyebrows, and trimming the amazon).

Wanna do new paint on my nails, too. I won free nail polish at a store event the other day, and I picked out a great blood-red shade.

And I should exfoliate, however that's done these days.

I need a home spa day.
