To The Bottom Of The Sea!

I just heard Voltaire's new album via sepiachord's live streaming CD listening party!
It is splendid! It's an array of lots of styles, lots of singing (and a guest singer Julia Marcell) and even had a song for the band (an instrumental)!

My favourite song is The Beast of Pirate Bay, which I think is most like his older stuff. And of course, I love Happy Birthday (my olde friend), no matter how many times I hear it (Charles laughed at how well I knew the lyrics. I heard it dozens of times at the video shoot!). And you can't beat that Death Death Devil Devil Devil Devil Evil Evil Evil Evil Song ;)

Anyway, if you wanted it and didn't pre-order it, too bad, because it will be out of print on the same day it's released. But if you're very lucky, and see him (and if you see him, you're very lucky indeed), you might be able to buy one right off him at a show or something.

Charles and I ordered ours as soon as we got back from Toronto :D

Actually, I'm going to the looooo.
Oh, also, I made more new friends today! One of which is ray_gunn!! The fabled! I was afraid I'd never see him again :) And another who turns out to know a small helping of my Vertex friends.

Campus is still a maze, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I was on time for all my classes today and knew where I was 90% of the time!
