I was walking on the ground, and I didn't make a sound. Then I turned around... oh wait. That was Crispin Glover.
Let's start over.
I was getting ready to carve pumpkins with Kelly (mine turned out SO AWESOME, but there are no pictures). And preparation included setting up my computer so we could listen to music. Well, wouldn't you know it, I fucking touched the thing and the power cord, which had been worn down a lot to where I had to superglue it and hope it didn't wear on, snapped right off.
So I can't use my computer until I get a replacement cord. Which means updates will be posted about once a week, same with checking my mail, and getting on aim.
I survived my 23rd trip around the sun. Though, for a while, I didn't think I would have. Certain events and sour conversations with close friends put me into a deep depression that I'm just starting to climb out of.
Kelly, Charles, Brian and I hung out. I love them :)
Of all the people who wished me a happy birthday, I was most surprised that my dad remembered.
Though, there was one person that I wanted to talk to, but I'm afraid he hates me. I miss him, though.
Nichole asked me to go to Alexandria's with her Friday. Moments before Charles called me. There was a party he and Brian were going to, but it was in a bad part of the city, and I didn't want to drive out there. So I went to the bar with Nichole instead. Had fun. Talked to Shannon all night. Shannon who I hardly knew back in high school but spent most of the night with.
There were a lot of people I hadn't seen since high school. Along with Tug, Mo, Gary and Burger (who was dressed as the ham-burglur), there was Chops, Pops, Footer, Russo... Russo who is an asshole and not part of the group, Except for 2D (and sheena) ALL of the Clubhouse was there.
I was into the night. That was surprising. I usually feel really out of place there.
Yesterday, I cashed my check and spent most of it on liquor. I hit a bottle of peach shnopps and a double shot of tequilla before attending Low Budget Pictures night at Rocky Horror.
I hung out with Jason and Noel a lot of the night, while people either complained to us about the tastelessness of Filthy 3 or the brilliance of it ;) People were highly offended by my scene :D :D :D
Oh, and I got Jason and Noel to sign my boobs :) Jason's boob says "Keep 'em jubbly" and Noel's says "I eat your soul!" <3<3<3
some cool costumes of the night were Sally (played by Lauren. It's like her trademark), a human pin cushion (played by Jen), Devil Lawyers (Jason and Noel), Jem (laura), Elvira, hippies, machetti (sp?) victim, angel/devil...
After the movies ended and before Rocky started, I was starting to feel really down. Surprisingly, it wasn't because my ex-s were there with their cuter girlfriends... I just wasn't into the rocky mood. It was weird.
So I went to Vertex.
I showed up with no expectations of seeing anyone I knew there. Brian was at Fright Fest at Darien Lake and intended to spend the whole night there. All my friends usually show up on Thursdays. I knew I'd at least see Bill and Brendan there. They're there practically every night.
I went up to the bar (happy hour ended in 15 minutes) and lo and behold I hear someone shout my name. I looked and saw CHARLES and his girlfriend (who is real and hot)! And I hung out with them. We danced and danced, and then Stick showed up! With Chris! and another kid named Mike. Dunno.
Lots of costumed lovies were there. Carrie, Elle and the Crazy 88 (awesome costumes!), Clone High Marylin Manson (that is, a guy with a GIANT MARYLIN MANSON HEAD on)...
I think I like Saturdays, but I have to choose. I can't afford to go more than one night a month (let alone a week) and all my friends show up thursdays. But I can actually dance on Saturdays. Hm.....
I hate these moral dillemas.
Anyway, I had a fucking awesome night.
Last day of work has been called off due to the big wind storm last night knocking all the corn and displays down.
SO I MIGHT GET TO GO TO KMFDM!!! If Dave and Sam can get me in free, that is ;)
Work has been fun. I made some neat friends, and even one nearly as weird as I am! Imagine that! GASP!!! I can even go trick-or-treating tonight!!!!!!!!!
That's it, I'm getting ready and calling Kelly!
