Never ever saw the stars so bright...

hear: by my side
feel: torn down
This is my official second post of the week (as opposed to the 2 and a half unofficial posts I'd made this week). I'll be better. I promise. I could just delete the other posts and stick them at the bottom of this one. Would that still be cheating? Maybe. But no one need ever know.
It was a surreal twilight when I realized I was taking things far too seriously. I cry when I think about it. I'm not going to do that anymore, though. Now that I've realized what I've been doing; how irrational I've become. I've been concentrating my energy on other things in order to lose track of what I've become. Maybe it's not too late. I need to do something else, anyway. I don't have anything new for my website. I have so many projects in mind and no motivation to get to them. I have been writing, though. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I continue to do it!
The job interviewat Office Depot went kind of alright. I'm pretty sure I bombed it. Not to mention, they want me to take a drug test. I would have gone in today, but I woke up VERY sick. Apparently, I haven't licked this cold yet. Maybe it's a sign. I should call him back and say I'm not going to do it.
On the way back, I finally got the guts enough to stop at the Pittsford theater to see if Matt was working. My heart seemed to have made every attempt to escape my chest as I opened the door to go inside. And then I discovered that he now prefers to be called Matthew. Yes, that's right. He was there. It was so lovely to hear him call me 'sweetie.' He's the only one that can really get away with that. The only one I love to hear it from. Funny thing, though; he didn't recognize me at first. Because I was wearing makeup instead of my glasses. I hung out there for about a half hour before we exchanged phone numbers and I left with a feeling that was nearly euphoric.
About the abandoned house:Charles, A1 and I snuck into the house just outside our town, using only our cell phones to light the way. We climbed through the window into a mostly empty room and made our way through the whole place. There were a shit-ton of really creepy dolls all over the place. We went through everything in every room. And even looked into the refrigerator with contents that could probably hold a conversation with you. We made our way to the attic, and then we found the way to the basement. Coming back up, I realized there was a safe at the head of the stairs. Then we found another room. It appeared to have been a store at one time. There were shelves, unopened cokes, daily total logs, and an awesome cash register. What I liked best about this adventure was the fact that I wasn't as creeped out as I should have been, and there wasn't much dust at all. When we got home, I uploaded the pictures and there were orbs all over the place. end.
I think I will send Tom that postcard. But on another ending note; those dolls I bought the other week aren't going to corrupt themselves.

Date: 2004-09-22 09:42 pm (UTC)anyways in this case i think she meant that when she uploaded the pics there were white circles in the pics. given she was in a spooky abandoned house, tricks of light get promoted to "orbs" and thus ghosts ;)

Date: 2004-09-23 01:08 pm (UTC)As I went throughout the house, I half expected to see a body or something, but there weren't even spiders or rodents or anything. Only some cool finds. I brought home a doll's wedding gown and an antique music box.
