Nothing like a horrible car crash outside your house to pull you out of a bad mood.

Now if you doin't mind, I'm going to try to take pictures while the lighting is good.

commenting because of the post after this.

that is, generally speaking, my role in life...

and the poor are my people.

car crashes scare me. re my most recent post. of course, i like to be scared.

as to your most recent post:
take from this old-timy once-upon-a-goth, thousands upon thousand of people will come and go from your life. it's like a swarm of atomic particles, all coming together to make something necessary, but not necessarily permanent. only a few of those particles will stick for good to form the true molecule of your life. and even that will change with time. make what you will of each experince and remember it for what you've learned. none of the people i knew from the late 80's ( the height of the goth scene here in Houston) are still in my life. I helped many see life through new eyes as well, and they've all gone there own way. We should consider ourselves lucky that we can have that kind of effect on people. it's a kind of gift. a psychic once described me as a sage. i think that is the most inspiring thing anyone has ever said to me. That was years ago, and I forgotten it until just this moment. See, now you've helped me too.

You're absolutely right. Reading that really warmed my heart :)

I guess I was just pissed because in the long run, the reason for being left behind seems to be because I can't afford to keep up.

But this reply really made me smile.

Thank you <3

Okay, this is just downright freaky. I was in the found_objects community, looking at your haunted house pictures and thinking that they were all the rage and so I went to check out the coolness of the person that posted the pictures, and I came to your journal and came across one other found_object picture that I adored (the flowers & book) and dresden dolls lyrics (coin operated boy, only like the best song EVER) and then I read this, that there was a wreck in front of your house on the 7th... well, on the 7th, I witnessed the most horrible wreck to ever happen in my neighborhood (I was seriously standing like THISCLOSE) and thought it was weird that you live in the city I am thisclose to moving to... yeah, I just had to point all that out because it's super cool stuff: a series of coincidental yet awesomely mysterious circumstances that led me to the conclusion that we MUST be the same person. or, at least... the same brain. or members of a collective brain. which would be cool, but is absolutely not the case.

anyhow, I'll stop rambling. keep being nifty!
