Now if you doin't mind, I'm going to try to take pictures while the lighting is good.

Date: 2004-09-08 11:56 am (UTC)as to your most recent post:
take from this old-timy once-upon-a-goth, thousands upon thousand of people will come and go from your life. it's like a swarm of atomic particles, all coming together to make something necessary, but not necessarily permanent. only a few of those particles will stick for good to form the true molecule of your life. and even that will change with time. make what you will of each experince and remember it for what you've learned. none of the people i knew from the late 80's ( the height of the goth scene here in Houston) are still in my life. I helped many see life through new eyes as well, and they've all gone there own way. We should consider ourselves lucky that we can have that kind of effect on people. it's a kind of gift. a psychic once described me as a sage. i think that is the most inspiring thing anyone has ever said to me. That was years ago, and I forgotten it until just this moment. See, now you've helped me too.

Date: 2004-09-08 01:08 pm (UTC)I guess I was just pissed because in the long run, the reason for being left behind seems to be because I can't afford to keep up.
But this reply really made me smile.
Thank you <3
