Cook it till just before it turns black. That's usually the key, heh.

well. I cooked them until just AFTER they turned black ;)

i usually cook it in a pan used to cook something else previously...

slap the strips in
give it a few seconds
flip over
do this about 5 times
let them get to a nice dark shade (not black)
then yank em out and put em on a paper towel... They'll harden and taste nice!!!

aaah, they harden when they cool. That's where I went wrong!
