dielloThe Pigface show was SO FUCKING AWESOME! They didn't do 'fuck it up pigface' or 'hips tits lips power', or 'steamroller', but still, the show was so fucking cool!!! Jon couldn't go, alas, but I talked to Cheston, and he said he'd go, but then he backed out, so I went around floor to ask everyone. I eventually went with Mike.
Comacast was there. I didn't expect them to be, because they weren't on the original fliers. I saw the new ones at the show, and sure enough, there they were right at the bottom. They were quite good.
Next was Bile. They put on a great show. They played 'in league' like I thought they would.
Then was Zeromancer, who I would have thought was going to go on before Bile, but they didn't. They were great. They covered 'send me an angel' and played 'Dr. online'. Everyone around me was singing and dancing and oh it was great.
My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult was next. A lot of my friends came to see them. But I and a few other friends were here to see Pigface. Anyway, TKK was good. They played a lot of their good songs, and a lot of their newer ones. I sat for most of the set. My feet were killing me and I wasn't very into TKK to begin with. I don't know. I think it's best I don't see them live again because the lead singer just seemed way too into himself. He gave off this 'dirty old man' persona... But they were good.
When they ended, I went through the dispersing croud and got a good spot front and center. Oh they were godly when they came on. And Curse was still as goregeous as ever.
Eventually, I got pulled into the mosh pit, and then pulled out, and then pulled in... I had to hold on to my glasses, because I got them knocked off my face a couple times. Luckily, I was able to catch them before they got too far from my face. I felt bad for this one (pro'lly forty or so year-old) lady, though. When the pit slowed to a halt for a slow part of a song, she saw it as a place with not such a smushed crowd, so she stood near me watching. I wanted to say, 'lady, you're in the pit' but it was too late. She got knocked down and lost her glasses. She found them a few minutes later, bent to crap, but surprisingly not crushed.
After the show, I found Curse, and got his autograph on my stub. He's so cute. Beanie will be mad jealous.
Then Mike, Brian and myself went to Vertex. We were able to get in free with our stubs. Upstairs I saw Zach dancing all cute-like. I ended up giving him a ride home, too. After we dropped him off, the three of us went to East Ave. Family Diner for breakfast. Mike treated. That was cool of him.
So our night was pretty well. Brian and I ripped on each other all night long and I got Curse's autograph... mah neeewww boyyyfrieeennnddd.... kidding, jon.
