New Glasses

Got my new glasses this morning before work. My OD told me about his trip to a convention in Boston, and how he and all the other eye doctors found a cool themed bar called "Dick's Last Resort" where the theme is All the Staff Treat You Like an Asshole. Then I chewed-the-fat with one of the techs about the guy who flipped out on them last time I was there - he was apparently the straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back in regards to a certain insurance provider (who told patients and doctors contradicting things as far as coverage goes), so they dropped that plan from their list. I also grabbed some more sample contacts (different brand than before) and then tried on my glasses.

The transition lenses and glare resistance are amazing! I never thought I could feel pampered by glasses. I love them!
