My favourite book, I'd have to say, is Lord of the Flies, by William Golding.

I collect copies of it, no matter how torn, beaten, or worn out they may be. I've rescued several copies from dumpsters before.

It's my favourite story, because it depicts what I've always believed- that children are inherently monsters. I know, there are reasons behind this, that sustainable civilization is beyond their grasp at their age, but I stand by it.
