Dear Sir or Madam
Aug. 6th, 2008 08:13 pmI am the awesomest person in the world today because I have accomplished THINGS!
1. Went to the post office to deliver a letter with lots of dust upon it (I also mailed off lots of dusty envelopes yesterday, too) and emailed people who I hadn't written to or heard from in a while, to let them know that I mailed them.
2. Went to MCC to situate some things with my financial aid, and now I have just one thing left to do in regards to it... which I somehow can't do from my computer. I blame Vista. Also, I signed up for an orientation, which commences Monday morning. Free lunch, I heard. Cool, cool.
3. Chores! I cranked the tunes, sorted ALL the laundry, tossed it into the wash, and then utilized the vacuum cleaner that mom let me borrow. I blew the couch away from the walls with my mighty strength of mightiness and sucked up all the crud I wish I didn't know was there. It was gross. I also did some dishes. And get this! I put all my laundry away! AMAZING!
4. I rewarded my awesomeness with some good food (because I forgot to eat something in all that excitement), and watched a couple hilarious episodes of The IT Crowd, which is the funniest show I've seen in years. Thanks, Calamity Jen!
5. There is no five! Splendid!
6. Thank google for Nova Science Now! And Quantum Leap. These shows often save me from the horror that is Reality TV, when my beloved forensic shows are nowhere to be found.
