Parents

Wow. Have you ever seen this movie? Because I haven't until right now. I was checking out what movies they had available for view on hulu.com and clicked on "Parents" unsure what to expect. I saw the picture, read the synopsis (kid discovers his parents are cannibals) and promptly asked Charles if he'd ever heard of it. "OH YEAH!!" he exclaimed. "That's the movie I was trying to think of when I was thinking of movies with amazing soundtracks!"

So I began watching, thinking it was going to be something like the movie Fido (a zombie film for the whole family), or at least funny in some way, as it does have Randy Quaid in it. Nope. Creepy all the way, but the happy musical juxtaposition in the midst of the Angelo Badalamenti score (not to mention a normal little boy) added to the creepiness and made it kind of amusing.

First class movie! I could watch it again and again!

Right-o. Before I pop into the sack, I just want to point out the update over on imjh. There's a picture up. It's just the blue tone of the outline for page 5, but I wanted to sneak in a progress shot. I'm only on page 9 (I got stuck after I realized I didn't have character descriptions of some of the pirates on that and the next page).
