So true so true...
May. 6th, 2004 04:02 pmI don't think there's much reason to keep my entries locked anymore.

( which dead german composer am I )
Hugo Wolf had serious issues. He had wide mood swings and many illnesses throughout his life. His creative periods were also very sporadic, and while he constantly strove for musical perfection, he has few major works. As he grew older, his mood swings and illnesses turned to manic depression, and finally culminated in a complete mental breakdown. He was committed to the insane asylum under the impression that he was royalty, and thus didn't recall or have the facility to compose any more.
A few key works: Moerike Lieder, Goethe Lieder, Der Corregidor
Other news, when dad came home yesterday, he'd taken a $500 chess set that mum has demanded back. He was suppose to bring it back today. So I slept as long as possible. I'd woken up at 5.30a and succeeded in sleeping in until about noon. He didn't come back. Not yet.
I was suppose to go to Kelley Services today to apply for a job at the Canandaigua winery as a bottler. I didn't make it. I was going to try to get there around 1p, but I forgot that I needed to grab some phone numbers off the net first. I think I needed to shower first anyway. Oh well.
Also, I'm moving in with Sam in early June. So guess what
gaffeizil might be helping me do while he's here? ^__^
This will be freaking cool... Me and Sam upstairs, Dave and Donna (and harley) downstairs, Jason across the hall, and the Crypt Keeper scary lady across the other hall...
I am excited.
