(no subject)

Made a comic book run last night, I bought 25 dollars worth of comics (an amazing poster of Frank Quitely's Endless family included). I picked up about 20 copies of this flier they had about Endless Knights (or was it Nights?) and gave one to Good-Art-Teacher, Scott because the cover was done by Dave McKean and that's his favorite artist. Which reminds me, I need to borrow his Dave M. artbook before I leave.

Apologies to happymachines for not dropping by yesterday. I got sick, so I picked up the comics and went home. By the way, I met Heidi. Who's she? And when did she move in? And didn't you have cats?

So I went home, felt better after food (although I can't remember what I ate). I went and picked up Kelly for a night of faux Main St. nostalga, complete with pizza, wings and Romy and Michelle.

When she left, I drew for a little while and mum called me down to give me the artwork I let her show her art teachers over a year ago that she lost. I'm so excited about this! When I get around to it, I'm going to scan them in :) Along with the two crappy creations I did last night (white on black, which you should expect lots of since I found my black sketchbook).

So I went over to borrow Scott's book, and there, in front of student services, was a stretcher from an ambulence. What the...?

Melancholy and Happy too?

I am having a decent day. Nothing bad's happened, except maybe I ate too much (half a can of black olives, some swiss cheese, and a slice of pizza).
I read Serenity Rose, one of the new comics from SlaveLabor. It's about someone who doesn't have a "voice" who tries to speak up but, like me, can't get the chance to rise above the din of more powerful voices. Okay, well that's not what it's about but that's who S Rose is. I'm going to keep collecting this one. I really like it :) I also really like the song Crush Me by gaffeizil.

Ten good things about today:
1. Quark went very well.
2. I made good-art-teacher Scott very happy
3. I had a good hair day (yea, I know... surprise)
4. I think I might be over him.
5. I love my boyfriend, but stopped telling him (the good point is I love him)
6. I drew a cute picture of Tonks and Snape that I would like to dedicate to pale_n_morbid.
7. I'm excited to see Love Actually with Kellikins tomorrow.
8. I found a dollar.
9. I can afford exmas.
10. I've been drawing again :)
