Honey in my Gears

The way I go is to merge onto 490W, get off at Monroe (but not monroe/pittsford-- actually, I'm not sure if there's a monroe/pitts on 490 or if it was on 590), go west on Monroe, pass the bus station, pass main st, pass the cadilac hotel...... Monroe becomes Chestnut and Vertex is on the left (kinda hidden, but you should be able to see a strobe light). Parking's tight (especially on saturdays) so you may have to find parking on one of the sides (thankfully, it's a very small block, so walking isn't a problem).
