I long for more words than can fit in a 600 x whatever area image and also, I have noted on various occasions that some people own computers that just cannot tolerate heavy imagery. If I could think of a clever portmanteau for racist computers, I'd have used it.

So ends the reign of my Only Pictures posts. I will still make picture posts, of course, but not all the time. And I miss being able to just type up an entry without having to open photoshop.

So on with the update:

1. I am almost done cleaning my room. And as a 25 year old girl, I have had my fair share of REALLY messy rooms. Of all the disturbingly messy room occasions I have met in the past (including childhood), this is the first time I have discovered something slimy, green, and unidentifiable. Thankfully, it was in a bag, but the bag was leaking. Eventually, after a little while of poking at it, and at the same time the horrible smell hit me, I finally identified it as radish leaves that had really turned. I had eaten some radishes in my room, and tossed the bag of leaves in the general vicinity of the trash can, and apparently, I missed and hadn't noticed til now.

2. All my Threadless shirts came in. I've only worn my Spoilt shirt, and got my first comment on spoiling Harry Potter 6 at the new Olive Garden in Victor.

3. Speaking of Olive Garden, I bought Charles and I dinner the other night and the bill was cheaper than it would have been at Denny's! I got fettuccini alfredo, which comes with unlimited soup or salad (I picked salad), and endless breadsticks, and Charles got soup as an entree, and was able to get it unlimited. So we filled our bellies for under $15. Yum!

4. Yesterday, I went to drop off my sister's bridal shower gift. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go or not, and then Charles and I decided to do Dim Sum instead and I was sold. So I dropped off her gift, thinking maybe I'll stay for a few minutes, but then I got inside, and they were just sitting down to eat. I lied to Brooke and her mom and said I had a dentist appointment (on a sunday???) and left as soon as I could. Why? Because I had a minor panic attack. I saw all these people I didn't know at a bunch of tables. I saw no spare seats, and I flashed back to elementary and middle school, and freshman year... The dreaded Cafeteria conundrum. Where would I sit? I don't even know anybody! Where I sit will determine my entire future! Also, the party was catered by Dinosaur Barbeque, and I hate barbeque (yes, I realize I am probably the only non-vegetarian who hates barbeque). So I got out of there.
It was funny, though. Charles and I heard A Prairie Home Companion on the radio on the way to Dim Sum, and Garrison Kieler talked about the dreaded Cafeteria conundrum.

5. I've started painting. I am finding Chuck Palahniuk's Diary to be quite dull after 70 pages. I start school Wednesday and haven't ordered my books yet. I am getting $1,300 back from my loans. And I am joining a gym.

That felt really good.
